Got back earlier today. Didn't go to expo site all weekend, heard we didn't miss much anyway :? But had fun driving through the park :D

Main aim for the weekend- teething problems of Grumpy.

He did very well and i'm very much impressed

Snapped a ball joint on the steering - twice , and we didn't get much further for the remaining of the weekend after that
All is fixed now and shouldn't be breaking in a hurry anymore

Got shiat all pics, mainly video

Had a great weekend!!! Spectator and Competitor numbers were way down on previous years....

I got two 1st's and a 2nd in the show n shine with the 4runner. BIG THANKS  to Ryano at Fourby's for organising the 37x14 Iroks and Classic Locks for me....they looked awesome on the 4runner!!! And it actually fitted on it way better than I thought it would!!

Didn't get many pics of the racing, but got heaps of the 4runner...I'll post more up soon, but heres a quick one of the 4runner in the show n shine.

forget who I heard it off, but some guy blew 0.2 and wouldn't go with the police, they ended up using capsicum spray on him.

time for a ute cab or a new wagon cab to cut into an extra. i cant quite understand it. the handbrake was still on solidwhen it was at the bottom and still holds when the tuck was on a hill later in the da with the car trailer and a hilux on it.
the damage isnt good. upper and lower radiator supports bent bullbar stuffed headlights both front quarters bonnet and intercooler are ruined to.
its a very sinking feeling turning around and watching helplessly as your car ploughs into a huge rock but yeah at least no one was hurt

only had 4 rigs turn up for the rockcrawling which was a bit of a disappointment but due probably to the fact that werock was just the other week as well as xrcc next weekend and werock a few weeks after that again....

out of the 4 beebee didnt get to run as he had problems all weekend with electrics on the car, mine broke on the second stage on friday night but was fixed in time for the second stage on Saturday night( to beebee and greg for bringing the parts up and rod for the loan of his tools) so as i missed two stages i was relegated to third spot, team MMF in the Hilux got second, drove all stages just took a few cones more than Yuri who took out first after driving every stage...

next time i will be a bit more prepared and actually carry some spares with me...

went out wheeling with beebee etc on Saturday night and had a good wheel through some of the old XRCC and Werock courses near Cruiser Canyon as well

Had a barrel load of fun.

Gotta thank:

80LSY - for cooking up a storm (The Bowlesy Special) and allowing me to put him in a couple of big holes on the last stage. :D
beebee, Greg and Rod - for parts and help with the buggy (as merntioned by Dave).
Twisty and crew - for sharing the love and beers (alright, just one more before I go).
Amanda and Sean - from the Random Camp Site that loaned me a camp chair and a fire to sleep beside after Fester abandoned me on the hill, mildly intoxicated and miles from home. :D
Fester - for abandoning me on the hill. :finger:

Cheers,
Ryano

i saw that, it wasn't a cop that asked him. it was the cars owner after his 'mate' took it for a spin without asking. he was on his p's still so hopefully he wont do that again.

Our campsite stretched from the entrance of Cowah Falls (on the right when you drive in) all the way up to cruiser canyon entrance ;)
