snapped body bolt

Post by mickyd555 »

i snapped one, its the middle one on the passenger side, GU ute cab. I know im gonna need an easi-out to do it, but im wondering about the logistics????????? i dont realy want to sit under a cabin thats swinging off a block and tackle to work on it. What is the safest way to set up some sort of stand for it to sit on before drilling??

any ideas are welcome........

Are you rolling the Chassie out from under it? If so use some Drums or some Saw Horses to sit it on.

do you think it will be heavy enough to sit there while i drill it?

secondly i was un-doing them by hand cause i just wanted to plod along and get a bit done here and there today. i think the extension arm wasnt dead straight with the bolt, would air tools prevent this happening again.......
