Post by ToNkA »

Im about to make some sliders for the lux.

Can some one tell me the best steel to use?

I want to use pipe as opposed to square.

So what size wall etc, do I want?

I want to be able to bend it.

From allpro website:

"We now have our All Pro Rock Guards for all Toyota trucks and 4runners. Our rock guards are made from heavy duty 2" x .120" wall tubing for the rocker panel protector and 1 3-4" x .120" for the outer tube."

1 3/4" x .120" tube would be the go then?

What that? 45x3mm roughly? You can go bigger for not much more in price.

it can be bent - just takes a bit more effort - it is the same stuff POS rear links are made off and maybe his cage - he will be able to tell you for certain
