I have replaced mine in a 2dr , had them made by a local steel merchant to my designs in gal sheet, made in 2 pieces - an inner flat section and outer L section. Cost was $15 for the pair !
Saddle up tonto, its the not so loanrangie! . 98 TDI DISCO lightly modded with more to come.

Before i left school i did a short stint at a panel beaters o ver the xmas period and we had this XC falcon wagon come in that had been hit in the rear. When we went to strip it for repair, we found that the entire rear 1/4 panel was made of chicken wire and bog from the rear of the door to the tail light ! i filled my new sills with expanding foam once repaired.
