hilux powersteering

hi

i was just wondering if a power steering box from a 86 4runner with independant front suspension will fit a 85 model hilux with live axle, also will it hilux powersteering box run fine if i use a vr commodore power steering pump as i have a v6 convertion done

If you want to keep standard steering the IFS wont fit.
However if you want to upgrade to either crossover or highsteer steering than the IFS box is the go.

The SA box moves front to back, the IFS box moves side to side.

Yes this will work fine, I did this to a mates hilux and it worked great, on thing is holden has one thread type and toyota has another so it a custom line to hook them up.
