way more info is needed to even come close to answering that.

Do you mean you have put a coil conversion in the front and used a Hilux diff? Or do you have a coil Sierra that you want to use a Hilux diff instead or what?

he has a coily with hilux diffs, and roughly 6" of suspension lift due to longer coils, and raised lower coil seats in the rear, and extended lower strut mounts in the front.

I can only assume that Tojo is asking about alternatives to using the original front struts on modified mounts.

Sorry guys, I should have put more in.

Tojo's is a coily currently raised 6.5" on hilux diffs. I currently run 4" lifted coilovers in the front on 2.5" towers but I'm not happy with the set up and was wondering what other people with lifted zukes are running (coiled). and rough est. on cost. I can't give exact measurements at the moment as to shock length etc, other that the current set up has a 530mm resting hight between the original coilover mounts.

Several options I am considering are Dobbins eng. coilover kit on rancho's (not keen on rancho's)

Overkills long travel coil overs

or 14" air shocks.

Also just heard about doestch shocks, which I can't seem to find in Oz, but appear similar to most coilover kits.

All require modification to the mounts so no probs there.

Thanks in advance.

Whats the zook used for.

rock crawling or Gymkana type events etc. As i believe air shocks may not be good for endurance bump events like maybe OBC or gymkana events.

So far only Logan Challenge, but I'm hoping to get into Tough Tracks when work permits.

Why are the airshox not suited to gymkanna style?
