A huge thank you to everyone who was involved with the inaugral DRIVE4LIFE.
A total of $76,000 was donated directly to the Northcott Cripple Children's Assoc for specialist motorized wheelchairs.
How lucky were we with the brilliant sunny weather all week in the Vic High Country......67 vehicles and a great crowd of 4wdrivers and their friends (150+).
The 8 group leaders and sweeps worked v. well, each group taking different tracks which helped keep probs to the minimum thankfully.
The idea of spending each nite camping with another group also proved a good idea, as all the groups had a chance to socialize around a roaring fire. Even Anzac Day was celebrated with a moving tribute of the "Last Post" after a traditional game of 2 UP.
As a result the decision has been made with support of major sponsors and the enthusiasm of participants to run it again next year in the High Country, starting and finishing at Harrietville but using other tracks.
