GQ: TB42 Petrol Carby Idle Adjustment

Post by challenger »

Can someone please post a pic of the TB42 (petrol) idle adjustment screw.

I'm not sure which one it is, and my idle seems too low (500 RPM when in gear/auto).

And what is the correct idle RPM for an auto in gear?

Thanks.

ok it should be 650RPM in Drive.

the idle screw is the one closest to the throttle cable to the right hand side of the cable.

the other one is the mixture adjustment
