speedo gone haywire

hey the speedo on my gq has gone haywire its gone right round and sits of the clock basically but when you start driving it comes up to 130kph then might go to 60 you get the idea the odometer has stop also

has anyone had this happen to theres and if so what was the go i dont know where to start looking to see if there something broken

also if know one has had a prob like this before where do you guys suggest to go to get it sorted

Check connections from the sender on the back of the transmission. Remove the instrument panel and check the multipin connector on the back of the circuit board. Also, the speedo gets its power via the screws which hold it on to the circuit board, so check they are tight..
