For those of you that are interested in how Suspension geometry and all that stuff works OR you are thinking of a 3 link (or 4 link) then check out the JULY issue of Petersens!

Page 132!

This is about the best pics and explanations on how to set up linked suspension!

I had the advantage of listening to Sam, but for those of you who don't this makes it all a lot simpler!

Yes there are links like "Gods of suspension" on pirate but this is all to the point and easy to understand!

It may not be how everyone does it but its pretty damn Good!

It started back in the June issue but the crux of it is in the July one. I believe it will be continued into the August issue. Good info though.

The write up they have done does explain a lot of the design issues very well. Doesent really go into the reasons why they are designing the stuff that way but if you follow what they say then you should end up with a rear linked suspension that should behave fairly well.

I found heaps of info on pirate with sam's help but the info in peterson's is much more concise. There are other designs but what peterson's is offering appears to be a good compromise.
