60series bucket seats and light problem...

Post by vanzbrown »

Evening all...

Anyone put some better seats in their 60 than whats normally in there. At the moment i have the split seat 1+2 setup, but would like to look at a cheap option for bucket seats. I know that u could fab up brackets to fit almost anything, but i also want it to be a pretty easy job.

Also... Why now is the brake light on the dash (next to the park brake light) coming on after heavy braking? I dont have a manual or anything to check up whats its all about. Anyone know?

Cheers!
Leeroy.

Just looked at ebay tonight and there was a pair of grey 60 series bucket seats listed for buy it now $175. Might be worth a look if you want to stay with toyota seats, but in buckets. Item# 4637825608 and they are in Melbourne.

The brake light that is comming on is activated by the level switch on the brake fluid reservoir. Might just need to top up the fluid as my light was doing the same a while ago.
