Steel supplies - Blacktown or North Sydney

Post by beretta »

Hi I'm reasonably new to Sydney, can anyone point me in the direction of a good place to get tube for a rear bar and flat gal panel (for 1/4 chop), somewhere close to either Blacktown or North Sydney areas would be good. Name and phone number would be great if you have it otherwise just a name and I'll search for the rest!

Thanks for the help people!

Cheers, Paul

There is also an Edcon in Blacktown area. Just have a google and you'll find their main site with all the info.

Go to Sims Metal Recyclers at St Marys, they have a seperate warehouse on site that sells new metal stock and they are the cheapest in sydney. I work in the metal industry as a self employed fitter/welder and thats where I get my material from.

Is this the sort of place where you can buy offcuts. We have a place in wagga that you walk around collecting your bits and piececs and then pay SFA . perfect for plate steel etc.
