Springs and Stuff (60series)
Hi guys...
Well, im finally sick of mixing and matching up second hand springs on my 60series to get a bit of lift and over the fact that it sags 2inches to the right hand side. Im going to go splash out and get some new springs.
Anyone see any problem with just buying two rears first, and then new fronts later down the track. Ill be putting them in myself.
Seeing its 2006, just wondering has anyone had any recent reviews of the bigger name springs for 60series, ie. OME, EFS etc... Will only be going 2inch as thats whats supposed to be on it already so i wont have to buy new shocks aswell... (rancho RS9000s)
Many thanks
Leeroy.

yeah, im going to suss out prices now, perhaps it will work out cheaper to do it all at once. Will soon know. Dont want to put top of the range springs under it, as i may only hold onto it for another 12mths. From what ive been reading, the EFS gets good wraps, and are of good value. Just havent read too much with their application to landcruiser 60's.

Dont really want to buy everything... just the springs. I have new bushes here, and vehicle already has reasonably new shocks and greasable anti-inversion shackles.
The EFS kits comes with everything, for about $1800 (2inch) and $1900 (3inch).
Never thought about ironman. Might add them to the price checklist...

OME Dakar Springs front a rear will set you back around $600 for the lot. There is sometimes complete Iron Man kits on Ebay for $700 odd.

iv read as much as i can on this site about lifts and everyone who has had ironman susp seems to be against it and needing to upgrade after 12ish months..
i am in the same situation as yourself, need a good set of suspension with decent lift and not have to sell my soul to pay for it!
has anyone run a Hobzee's kit? any good?
wat about ToughDog, or that kit that 4wdsystems sells?
sorry if i kinda hijacked the thread
