What model landcruiser is this?

Post by dogeatdog01 »

Hi,
I have owned this long wheel base landcruiser ute for several years, but have never been able to find the exact model of it.
Im guessing its maybe a FJ40 but am not completely sure..
The old rego sticker says its a 1967 but after googling similar vintage cruisers, I have never found the same model which has me a bit confused.
I think its the 3.9 litre donk

If its a longwheelbase ute with a "F" petrol engine its a fj45 and thats what it looks like in the pics. Its worth what you can get for it but the way you describe rust in the tailgate you dont see many around with the factory ute tub nowa days.

Check Chassis number. Should be on the Rh chassis rail, inside the RHF wheel arch.

I think its a 1960's model on account of the wipers been on top of the windscreen.

yeah, although that continued till the early 70's

i think the turn signals/ lights on the front guard date it in the 60's tho.
