i am just letting you know how disapointed i am and all my mates are as well yesterday (sunday) was a ablsolote joke of a day it was way to muddie to move around and watch all the advents i had somebody slide into my car and just drive away now i am left with $5500 WORTH OF DAMAGE and i asked the sercurity people if it was covered by insurrence on the property and they just larught at me and $60 per person i had 4 people in my car now that is $240 that we paid at 1 pm on sunday just to get in ???? NEVER AGAIN AND GOOD LUCK YOU WILL NEED IT TALLAROOK !!!!!
So if some one runs into your car at Safeway you expect Safeway to pay to get it fixed? I think not.
Just incase you didn't notice, it is an outdoor event, when it rains it gets muddy. What do you expect??? cement footpaths everywhere???
Sure numbers weren't all that high, however at least these people are out there giving it a go running an event and setting up permanent facilities that can be reused in the future.

I don't think anyone expects to go home with a f***d up vehicle Sierrajim, especially when your not competing 
! I think his point has been missed. He had a bad weekend, the incident should be in the interest of the organisers to consider changes for the next one. If you don't have spectators you don't have a very exciting event. Maybe an organiser could comment or take this into consideration for the next event 
It shows a selfish attitude for the person who accidentally did it to not even leave a number!
Unfortunately these things happen Pearson, at least it won't happen again knowing now you are best to not park near any moving traffic when muddy. Hope you get the damage sorted ok.

I hope this incedent doesn't put u off all events . This is an ugly side of people when it comes to acciedents. The honest insured bloke/sheila would have left his number. But in saying was the event besides the mud and crash really that bad I heard apart from the weather(reduced crowd ) it was still a good event.

Yes, it was on the expensive side for spectators. However $50 to compete is cheap.
And besides the rain it was a good event. The organizers are planning for next year and seem to be taking peoples comments on board.
CCDA was asking competitors to email suggestions for next years event. I'd suggest that the organizers would be happy to receive CONSTRUCTIVE critisism and or ideas for next year as well.

Due to the ridiculous cost, our club boycotted the event as a whole.
$50 to get counted plus entry - ridiculous.! To take a family you'd be up for $200... Compare that to specatting at Ateco or other events which runs at $10 per head and kids under 14 free, you'd think the organisers would have their head screwed on and not trying to make a cash cow.
$50 to compete - good enough - I can see how that would rate highly.

I had nothing to with the event and did not attend.
However as a community we have similiar interests and need to help each other improve the events we do put on. The amount of work that goes into organising these things is huge, so if you don't like what you see, approach the event organisors with your constructive criticism and offer to lend a hand. You may even enjoy the experience.
