hi im looking for my first 4wd drive and was wondering how much fuel does a 1989 model 4.2ltr SWB ford maverick use per 100/km with 35" tyres and extractors. thanx if any1 can help cos i dont wanna buy the one that i am looking at and realise that i cant afford to fill it up.

i got that setup
and using 23L per 100 or there abouts

i noticed driving into realy strong winds makes allot of difernce

Same set up as mine as well.

I would agree with Mousie 23l to the 100 and sometimes worse.

Don't get an auto (I've got one) as your economy will be even worse. I get 23-25 ltr's /100 around town with mine and I only have 32' Mongrel tires not 35's.

Ive got an auto lwb I use 19 litres to 100 around town 4.2 carby
