I have a friend who was wondering if a 60 series power steering will fit on a 40 series

what ever you do avoid using an early slipper type pump ive had trouble from mine and im going to change it to the later vane type. The visual difference is that the slipper type has 8 bolts in the front of the pump behind the pulley.

There is a bit of modification to fit it shock tower has to be moved and so on you also need a 55 series column and some other bits. But it will fit and it works a treat.
If at first you dont succeed.......get a bigger HAMMER!!!
