Broken Grand Vitara 2l Motor

Post by horse82 »

Ive managed to break my motor trying to drive underwater. So far ive bent 2 conrods, but I havent pulled the head off yet to see what else. Any suggestions on were to go from here, eg stick with rebuild, second hand motor, convert to v6. Also any good conections for engine parts would be great.

motor decided it wanted to be a 4cyl so it spat number 1 and 2 rods outside the block heads should be ok b/c pistons are stuck in the block and car was still running( vey loud ) when the motor was pulled out i have taken the injection off and sumps off but most gear is there

I believe that a 2L Grand Vitara motor is a 4 Cylinder.
