5 pages of bullshit

I personally voted to allow them (in another forum) and I can't even do them. I'm not fased either way but voted to allow it for those of you who can do digs. So they have decided not to allow it.....it wasn't an issue before so forget about it and just bloody drive it I say ;) :D

Obviously there are some people who are in opposition to front digs. May I ask why these people feel this way?

I'm not sure that I see the problem with having the capability to go 2wd front?

Rolly wrote:yes tony things are quite different to short course days .
we encourage wheelspin more than discourage it as it is more entertaining for the spectators to see cars trying to blast up hills and over obsticles than crawling and have heavy penalties for wheel spin .
as steve said the only time this penalty comes into play is if someone is totally altering the track which would give them an advantage over the vehicles following.
i dont think suzukis really need front digs as they already have an advantage over the patrols and cruisers in the tight stuff .
i dont discourage it either as it would be good for spectators and make us work even harder to try and keep up.
thats the stupidest thing i have heard
(well except no front digs  )

what about when there is a hill climb or somthing the patrols and crusiers are goin to climb alot better then a short suzi

what bout when there is a section for speed u betta run a limiter on all engines over 1.3 as other wise they will have an advantage over the suzis

I went to the round at Janowen hills and it was good, and run ok, but there was a friend of mine running in the stock class and F***ed a tyre, he asked if he could change it on the course and both of the judges said it was ok as he was on flat ground and it would not affect his points (otherwise he wouldn't of bothered) as it isn't a timed event.
Then another car on the same course and class was on a dangerous angle with 3 wheels on the ground (pointing left hand front up and wanted to change the rear right and was not allowed due to safety reasons.
So a protest was put forward by the other driver and my mate lost his points/place on that course as a result.
So i think there should be a head judge on each course and what he or she says GOES.

And as for Front digs what happens if you brake a CV is that classed as a front dig or break a rear diff or is it make up rules as they go on the day depending on who is the course official and who you are or if you drive a POOOTROL.

So i guess mandys new car wont be there as well as people will say it is tooooo modified, i think they need to look at the cars competing now then look at the cars getting built /or modified just for Tuff Tracks among other comps- This is the reality and also the future of competing.
You may try to flip it of as a family fun event, so why have a protest system that escalates in price dramatically??

Anyway that is my 2 cent or more.
