Just a simple question. Can I get 4 inch lift springs and just put them in with a new set of ext. shocks?
What are the dissadvantages or problems I will incurr and what kind of dosh??
She's an old girl and I want some articulation and ramp over out of this sucker.. I dont want to do a SOA because of stuffing around and expens

4" lift on MK
As far as i am aware, you cant get 4" lift springs for a MK. But you could probably get some custom springs made if you really wanted to. Price for custom springs.... well, a lot i would imagine.
if you just want a bit more height you could fit some extended shackles. Which you could either buy off somewhere like Superior Engineering, or you could make some yourself.

its true fitting lockers wont help with lift etc but what i think he is saying is with them you drive further due to the add traction where as lift and articulation wont really help help you drive further if you know what i mean if you look at some of comp trucks these days they arent really going with huge lift due lockers allowing them to drive furtherTeam Carpet RC Vehicles wrote:Thanks guys some good ideas to start with.
