Air Shock Valve

Post by jeep97tj »

The schrader valve is leaking on one of my shocks, Can I put a tyre valve in or do I need the valve for an air shock, I’m just thinking about the pressure.

Also has any one had any leaks from between the fitting that the schrader valve screws into and the shock head?? i lost all my gas and half the oil befor i new it was leaking, i pulled it out and put some thread tape around it but its still leaked the next time i went out. might have to use Hyd sealant loctite???

Always a drama, the extra 40ml of oil i put in the shocks did help the torque roll alot though

I thought a schrader valve was a normal car tyre valve.
