ARB Airlocker sourcing help!!!!!!!

Post by DieselBoy »

Hi guys.
I have a mate doing a turbine overhaul on a power station over with you guys in Auss.

Before he comes back to NZ in a week he is of to Brisbane for a couple of days R&R.

He texted me yesterday and asked if i wanted him to pick up an ARB locker for me while in Brisbane, asd it would probably cheaper than getting one over here.

I have done the usual google but thats no good for finding the brisbane based 4x4 parts shop that does the best deal on an ARB locker.

Thats were you guys might be able to help, who in Brisbane can recommend a place to get in touch with and enquire about price of a locker. If its even slightly less than what i can get one for over here than i'll get my mate to pick it up and bring it back to NZ for me.

Cheers,
Pete

You will buy one cheaper from the US and import to NZ than you will buy over here, unless you've got mates working in an ARB shop or offer favours under the counter.

Waste of time. Buy one form the states.

Um we don't have Patrols in the USA. At least not since 1969....

So if you do find an ARB locker for your MQ/GQ in the USA I seriously doubt they have it in stock. In fact I bet you they would have to get it shipped from Oz and then ship it to you. That just doesn't seem like it would be cheaper.

Air lockers are the same price in the 'states as they are in AU ...
871.88 USD = 1,132.53 AUD (for a RD21 Tojo)

Freight would be a killer anyway ...

They are definately cheaper for cash in Aus ... one of the nissan ones is $100 more expensive though ... (front I think, with the extra splines)

ARB Southside - (07) 3277 2020

There are other ARB distributors near Brisbane also - depending on where he is
If it's worth doing - it's worth doing to excess ...
