1 HZ-FE ?

Post by danisvdw »

Does anyone know what is the difference between the 1HZ-FE and 1HZ also the difference between the 1HZ-FTE and the 1HZ-FE.

Is the 1HZ-FE the normal aspirated version of the FTE ? is the FE also 24 valves or is it just the diesel pump thats the same as the FTE(electronic). The power figures I got is the same as the 1HZ.

Also any thoughts on a descent Turbo and Intercooler for the 1HZ-FE and maybe how much I will gain.

Any technical specs will be appreciated.

Thanks

There is no such thing as a "1HZ-FE".

1HZ, 1HZ-B, 1HD-T, 1HD-FT, and 1HD-FTE are the valid later model Cruiser diesels.

What vehicle and engine do you have?
