Ok for the rock crawling guys, how often do you cinch down your front axle and rear independantly.
i was thinking of designing a single winch system to pull both ends down at once, i guess i want to know, how much more useful is independant control, vs just sucking the whole rig down

I wouldn't bother unless you've got an untrapped coil setup or 1/4 illeptic leaf setup. I tend to set mine with about an inch of slack above ride height front and rear and leave it at that. If I feel myself getting hung up or am about to go through a big crossed up section I'll let them out for additional wheel travel. I wouldn't want them to be off the one switch.
