How do I Identify the Make and Model

I have been offered a Toyota chassis with NO BODY WHAT SOEVER but it has differentials, gearbox and the lower half of the engine, but how do I determine IF it is a toyota and which make and model it is.

I am looking to maybe resirect or swap out parts on my Dihatsu Feroza.

front drivers side, stamped on side of chassis, really depends on age, but thts where it normally is
flog the ring out of it

have a look at the engine number too most toyota engine numbers start with the engine name ie. 2F, 3F.....
If at first you dont succeed.......get a bigger HAMMER!!!

OK,

I found this number on the chassis JT1PORNA600910958

On the engine (what was left) i can only make out 2F1.

Now with that info can someone tell me what engine it is/was, what year vehical and where can i find some manuals and info.

Take the chassis number into Toyota and they will give you all the detail you want
