I'm assuming its not engineered and does not come with RWC.

That makes it worth:

Diffs up to $400 pair (welded rear is worth less than an open one) if they're 4.88
Engine $free to a good home
Gearbox up to $300
Hilux shafts $90ea
Shocks depending of length maybe $300
50% 34" mongrels maybe $100 ea
Front bar maybe $100
stereo, ricer tacho and doof doof speakers. Put them in your ricer
Tip will take the body and chassis as scrap.

So MAYBE $1680 in parts
Well I'm guessing that they didn't think everyone would carry on like a big bunch of sooky girls over it like they have........
I paid $4000 for mine...which had a similar kinda of setup (lux diffs), but with 1.6 Vit Motor, rear air locker, Rocklobster Xfer, Warn 8000lb winch, & coils. I'm guessing yours would be worth around the same, maybe a bit less :?

Why, It is not engineered as far as i know anyway.

It is not roadworthy, welded rear, un engineered, hilux diffs, oversize tyres etc etc

And it needs a rebuild.

YOU asked, I replied. Not pissed at you for anything.

Lesson 1 in modifying a car. If you don't get your mods engineered when needed your car is relatively worthless in the end.

I agree with Sierrajim.

Your rig aint worth a pinch of shite unless you can sell it engineered. You could probably part it out for more than you could sell it for whole. Look at Mud4b.....he is parting out a well built rig. My guess is people wont touch it as it isnt able to be registered. Its a pity to see a 4wd that is so built up getting pulled to pieces.

thats why you don't ask those sort of questions one here!
ask your mates and look at what others are worth.

your rig is only worth what someone will pay!
and not many people like to buy fully modded rigs, as they don't know history, it may be hard to register if not engineered, and not everyone can get a pink slip for such a rig!

its ok to buy a built rig if you just want to comp in it. the reality is not many people can afford it!

and take what everyone says with a grain of salt, me inc.

and now I'll hide until everyone forgets what I said

I think the lot of you should be ashemed of yourselfs a simple answer of about $4k if it was engineered would have been sufficient

Not sit there and say its a piece of shite if not and needs this and that and no one wants one ready made as they might not be able to do the work themselves (which i would have bought if i couldnt) and these are worth this and that
If he wanted a parts price list he would have asked for one

That was a pathetic response to a reasonable question

Thats my 2c worth :fist:

Hope you get a good price for it anyways fella

About 4 grand engineered i think it's worth alot more. A stock one is usually around that price. Mine was $3500 with f&r lockers, winch, small lift and 30's and sence then have done a bigger lift, snorkel, ute soft top, made storage drawers and the thing owes me about $4200 I think this is cheap for a capable 4x4. Mate i think you will get well over 4k. My 2 bobs worth.

Once you spend a bit of time working with modified cars you realise a horrible truth, apart from special cases - YOU NEVER GET BACK WHAT YOU PUT IT. When you sell a modified car, you are cutting down you potential market instantly. An most times a modified zook (or most cars) will not pull any more than a good condition std zook. Think about it, its its heavily modified, then its probably heavily used too, so would you spend big $$$$ on a heavily used rig that may be getting close to breaking. I would never expect to get any of the money i have put into my zook back, and i havent spent that much on mine comparing to some of the member s here.

thanks mate..
i was thinking the same thing...
down here you carnt get soa engenerd.. they changed the law as i was doing it..
i drive this rig most of the time as my DD (as my turbo pulsar is playing up a bit) and have NEVER had a problem with cops or transport.. i have had cops pull up next to me at the lights and say "jee that looks nice and high" but never defect me. down here it is nearly imposible to get defected unless you are a ricer i think..
and as for...
That makes it worth:

Diffs up to $400 pair (welded rear is worth less than an open one) if they're 4.88
Engine $free to a good home

So MAYBE $1680 in parts
i built the fu*king thing.. i think i would know
and it cost a FAWK lode more than that
im not expecting what i payed for and in modds it back.. not in any means.. but hell im not gona give it to some one for $500!
im going to put $4g on it.. simple as that.
i would like more shore.. but hey no one is going to pay more.. or if they are it would take way to long and i need to get rid of her!
anyways thanks to the people who put sencible comments on her and to those that didnt :finger:
