i need to replace my steering wheel in my bundera. i went to Landcruiser Mart in brissy to get a replacement. they had a really daggy on one for $50 or a recondition one off a newer model 75 series - for $165;.
My question is - is it hard to turn 33's in a car like a bundy with a small "sports" steering wheel ( like from repco) or something? the cost of the recond. 75 series one is about the same price as a sports. obviously one doesnt just bolt on, but all the same if there similar in price then i may prefer the small one.
SO, is it hard to turn 33's with small steering wheels?
Thanks

Re: steering wheels
with power steer easy, you can get a wheel and boss for the $160 mark depending on the wheel you want and the brand of bossjigga wrote:i need to replace my steering wheel in my bundera. i went to Landcruiser Mart in brissy to get a replacement. they had a really daggy on one for $50 or a recondition one off a newer model 75 series - for $165;.

If the above post did not offend you in any way please PM me so I can try harder!!
I got 35s on my 60...and a sports stering wheel...piece of cake!
Just be carefull which sports wheel you get...they may all be ADR approved but that doesnt mean the authorities will like it.
I had to get another sports steering wheel (originally had one of those wooden style ones) but because the original steering wheel was padded...I could only replace it with a padded sports steering wheel.

I have a standard wheel off a ‘98 HZJ75 [only done 50K] that you can have for $50 [plus postage]. The marks you see in the pic are where it was sitting on something in the workshop – they are indents only and will come out – the wheel is perfect other than a coating of dust. If you don’t want to spend the coin on a sports wheel, let me know.
Cheers
