I kinda forgot to mention this before:
It was awsome to see a heap of new competitors in these event. both from a competitor point of view and also for the oprganisers. everyone knows that alot of people will grow with the sport so we are not seeing alot of the 'good' teams that once were there. This is always going to be a natural progression.
I remember the first actual NAVRUN we done and we sucked big time! We look at the Wayne and Mike smith's and nissan nutters and thought we'd never get there, but we did and they've moved on. So for all the newbies out there please don't be frightened to have a go. The Navruns are the friendliest bunch of competitors i know. If you want to know something just ask! Most peolpe would rather win by skill than anything else and the best way to improve your skill level is to be challenged by competition. i'd rather come second and have helped the winner out than win knowing i shouldn't have.
What i'm saying is get in there and have a go or comeback and have another go, I look forward to the day that the newbies in it now are kicking my arse.
You're not going to find a better, more friendly event to have a crack at!

Nice Ruffy, he was a sneaky bugger hiding in between the trees with his Aussie Disposals camoflauge hat on (any extra points for the promo there on the next run Rudi! ) You could hardly see him till lthe last minute!!!

I will bide my time my friend, until next time.
You'll need to employ new tactics Rudes. Not that i was speeding
But if i was i would have predicted within 500m of where the radar would be and made sure i kept to the limit in that area
