Nissan deals On STR Navara

Post by swbpatrol »

Has anyone purchased an STR with the current deals with Nissan for a new STR costing 34k This is a big saving obviously on road cost would be a little more. If anyone has could they recommend and good yards in WA that will give a good deal. Also is it worth getting accessories with the car like winch or do they put big $$$ on things like that making it better off to buy after i purchase from an accessorie shop. I have also heard that dealer delivery is not a essental cost and u are not required to pay. Is this true???

Thanks in Advance

you pay stamp duty on the total cost of the truck. if you pay 34K for it then 2000 on accessories (from the dealer) you would pay duty on 36K. buy after purchase and only pay it on the 34, depending what you are buying and what type of purchase you are making this can be a large differance. Dont expect to get to good a deal if fiancing, however do haggle on the interst rate, they will tell you some bull shit about being outside the usual lending critera and the best rate they can do you is 9.99, most dealers buy fianance for about 6.5 so anything below 7 is an excellent deal. work them and you will get it. also, delivery charge, only way i can see of getting out of that is buying a demo but this would also make you exempt from alot of outer fees or levys.

Once up in the revs has plenty of poke, but nissan should have geared them down a bit, it is a 6 speed manual and first and reverse are way too high, have to over rev to get them off the line. Don't forget to push down on the gear lever to get it into reverse if you buy one.
