Go x-over and then ditch the torque rod and steering problems.

Or you could shorten the front torque rod and get a drop steering arm. These arms should have enough adjustablility to take up the 30mm.

The torque rod off an 82 model is 30mm shorter, I have one at home and I compared the two  . John John from TLCC has taken the pitmam arm off his hilux and rotated it anti clockwise moving the drag link forward so at full left lock it stops just short of the spring mount on the chassis.
Just a suggestion anyway, I would prefer cross over steer, but I'm still saving  . Is there much more clearance on the rear of the front guard , and did you just re-drill your spring perches.

came up with a good idea    made a fully adjustable arm (will post pics soon) the new rubber 35 centerpeeds just clears the guards but had to move the firewall back with a hammer cause the tyres hit on full lock with the custom offset on the rims.
