60 series bump stop heights

Post by vSAHARAx »

Hey all

Can someone please tell me what the bump stop clearances were on a 60 when they were new?

At the moment mine are reading

Front: L: 88mm R: 89mm
Rear: L: 137mm R: 139mm

I have OME lift 2" front 3" rear but the front seems to sit really low, its almost as low as it was when it had the stock springs under it!

what bumb stop heights do others have with a 2" lift under their 60. im just so disapointed with it  ! Also if you are feeling energetic enough could you please post some pics of your 60 with an ome lift, just so i can compare, sorta .

Cheers Troy

Hey mate. Yeh, those figures are standard. The figures came from an article from an Overlander magazine from 1984. Will have to get back to you on what mine are. I have Dakars in the front with extended shackles and reset rears with extended shackles.
