GQ LEATHER

Post by irshad »

my patrol has the lower spec seats. they are not confortable. i saw one at the wreck and it has the luxury seats with velour. visualy the seats are different. what about in terms of confort?
i want to buy them and reupholster in leather like the old gq.
what is the leather type of this model?i saw a 12 old nissan patrol with leather seats .the seats looks new!!!!!i dont if the owner reupholstered them, but i dont think so.nissan in the old patrols used best materials than nowadays.
thankx

Leather seats...over rated IMHO. Would think you would slip slide around too much in a patrol.

Before I bought the Mav I sat in a few TI's and thought that the seats were cold and slippery.

Cloth seat's felt more comfortable.

That is my 2 rupee's worth

I'm probably a bit late on this post as i noticed our mate across the Indian Ocean, irshad has cracked the s**ts.

Anyway, my 'trols leather seats have stood up well to a lot of punishment. The beauty of leather is mud and water wipes straight off as opposed to cloth or velour, and doesn't crack as easily as vinyl.

Can be a bit on the heavy side if that's important to you, but mine's a 2-seater wagon so who cares?
