Cardinal Joint - front drive shaft

Post by Vulcanised »

I have a front shaft with a cardinal joint on it which i am considering putting on the Pootrol. After the engine swap, the trans has been lifted at the front, changing the drive shaft angle somewhat...... is there any downside to running one at higher speeds? i also have one on an MQ front shaft that has the same size uni's as the rear shaft, i'm considering getting that put onto a spare tail shaft i have here..... not having driven a car with cardinal joints on it, is there any problems running them on the highway? most of my driving is at highway speeds.

TIA
