12HT Thermostat

Post by vSAHARAx »

Hey All

how much of an effort is it to change the thermostat on a 12HT? Have got new radiator, new hoses installed and i need a new thermostat cover because it is all corroded. So while im changing that i want to put a new thermostat in, so that way the main parts of the cooling system have been changed.

Cheers Troy

mate if youve got to change the housing then you'll see the t/stat once you pull it off
just put the new one in the same way
you'll see what i mean when you pull the cover off

some blokes put a bit of silicone around the rim to seal them up
just get a prying tool and it should come out
