Snorkel question

Post by 4RUNR »

Hi all, regular browser, first time poster.

Manufacturing my own 3" mandrel bent snorkel. Wondering best and cheapest place to purchase 3" rubber 90degree bend you see on snorkels everywhere. Am in Melbourne and appreciate your help.

Thanks heaps.

Is it better to use the rubber bends or get someone to weld the mandrel bends on?

My 3" mandrel rubber 90 degree bend was $21, and the 45 degree bend was $32. (I know.. i thought the 45 would be cheaper...lol)

I went to a truck spares shop who stock Donaldson parts. This was in Newy though.

Thanks guys it's a great help. The rubber bend was just to poke through the front quarter, the rest is made up of 3" mandrel bends and pipe.

Thanks again.
