parabolic springs?????
Hi guys, i am lifting my hilux 3" soon and was looking at the superior engineering parabolic springs.
I have a hilux 1993, ln106 2.8d turbo, with a winch, steel bullbar, side rails etc...
Are the parabolic springs suitable? will i get more flex running the parabolic springs rather than the 2" lifted springs?
The other question is has any body got good/bad reports from experience
Any help is appreciated
thanks
brad

Re: parabolic springs?????
Alot of trucks we have at work are coming out with these parabolics standard now, and they do seem to be alot more comfortable. Its hard to test flex in a prime mover though.brad 93hilux wrote:Hi guys, i am lifting my hilux 3" soon and was looking at the superior engineering parabolic springs.

I mate of mine has a 2000 model lux ifs with rear leafs, we were both talking to a dude that sells parabolic springs he said the same thing.
They dont improve the flex (in light veichles e.g hilux) they are better in heavier 4wds like patrols or cruisers.
he said they do improve the ride quality, he sugested to my mate to try some revolver shackles

I've got parabolics in my 96 lux, 2.8 turbo, they are stiff as sh!t, the rears take a heavy load reasonably well, the fronts have sagged over a period of a couple of years with the weight on them.
Saying that they outlasted the previous leave packs I had in there. but my mates ifs lux almost outflexes me
