Mystery stud pattern?
G'day all,
When I bought my Zook the dude who I got it off chucked in 5 15x8 steel rims, albeit pretty old and shitty, for nicks.
These were supposed to be Zook stud pattern but as it turns out aren't!
Can anyone help me with identifying what they may have come off?
Info stamped on the rim reads:
8JJx15-1505 9/95 C276 and they look just like a Sunny or similar.
Approx measurements from stud to stud is about 95mm, and stud centre to hub centre approx 85mm. Oh, and they're 5 stud with a fairly hefty offset.
a long shot I know be anyays.....
cheers

'91 Tin top Zook...
only measured within a couple of mm's of accurate, but yeh they essentially are too big (the stud pattern radius) for the zook.bazooked wrote:with a pcd of around 170 mm ur sure thats right, works out to 6.9" and a zook pcd is 5.5"
They're definately not zook, and therefore f100 either I guess.

F100 stud pattern is the same, but factory F100 rims can have a smaller centre hub, especially if they are 2WD.Nev wrote:if they were 5 stud f100 they would fit the zook...my guess is with the land rover too...if not could be newer jeep ones but i dont think the pcd on them is that bigDX80 wrote:F100 ??

85mm centre stud to centre hub ads upto aprox 170mm bolt circle.... the only 5 stud close to that is Early Rangie, with 5 on 6.5" (aprox 165mm)
You will find they are very big wheel stud holes as well I'm guessing??

Correct, Early Range Rover/ Land Rover is 5 on 6.5, or about 165mm, or very close to Boopa's original rough measurement of 85mm from the stud to the centre, x 2.Bad JuJu wrote:Landrover is 5 on 6.5 PCD from memory.

Hang on, isn't that the Lada Riva pattern? J/K!!
Yup, 5x165.1 sound very likely and as CRUSHU has said many many a time.
The 5 stud PCD formula confirms this as well:
Distance between two holes divided by 0.5878
Therefore, 95mm/0.5878=161.6
Distance is actually roughly 97mm, which gives you 165.1, in other words Rangie pattern.
I know it's been said before but I just like verifying the obvious.
