Swapping lockers from one car to another.

Lookin to get lockers swapped from GQ to GU, anyone got ideas on where in SE Melb, and rough idea on cost.

Had one quote, I think he mistook it for his phone number.

procomp did mine, including a ratio change.

it was $250 to remove and refit the front centre, $150 the rear, and $150 each centre to install gears and locker.
It would have been cheaper if i had removed and installed the centres obviously, by $400.

i think with the arb GQ front locker (rear is the same) the old one before the gu came out, you have to cut 6-8mm off the GU axles, i.e drop saw.
now they dont make a 'GQ' front locker as such, the GU front does the job in the GQ's.

you could just swap the whole centre's if you like the GQ ratio, but you will still have to cut the axle's if its a pre GU locker.

if your not talking arb air lockers than this wont help.

as far as im aware the only difference between GU front and GQ front is a thrust bloke in the locker, i also read you can get the part through ARB to convert the old one for use in the GU
