Feroza Convert Narrow Track to Wide Track

Post by Dimma »

My Name is Maurice, i live in Melbourne and own a Feroza CXI 95 Model. I have upgraded interior and have just acquired Wide Track Guards. I havent installed as yet because im missing some pieces. Should these guards fit straight on?

The widetrack guard underneath isn't the same shape as a Narrow Track guard, they are cut out a fair bit. SO the standard mounting equipment won't work.

I've got a widetrack (F310), I had to remove to fix my front right side flare after hiting a damn roo :bad-words: it has those bracket that goes between the mounting points on the flares to the wheel arch. it's not a straight/ flat piece, it has like a step in the middle

So when you had the flare off, you didn't notice the large amount of metal "missing". The guards are 'trimmed' a significant amount over a standard guard to allow the wheel to travel upwards into an area which is normally metal.

Ur must've been trimmed by someone before you've got it.

I can assure you it was factory, maybe another Daihatsu oddity between models.
