it is heaps and heaps

while stripping my parts truck i pulled the shifter boots of the g/box and t-case looks to need a complete new tranny tunnel :?

true, but sometimes it's easier. In my experience there is a reason why most people do the same thing, why try to reinvent the wheel? a body lift is easier than tunnel mods. remember you will never build a rig that is flop proof, no matter how low it is. IMO body lift, drivetrain lift, slam the springs (keeps it low ;) ) and get it ready to drive.
