Auto Bang

Post by 19738662 »

I have a 2003 NP 3.2 DID Auto. I have had problems with a loss off drive when I have been in LLC. I have felt a loud bang noise in the auto followed by no power it was just like it has jumped out of gear. Has anyone out there experienced or know of such a problem occurring? Thanks Bob

Bob,... trust me. Sell it. Now.

Or else this will get very frustrating and expensive.

although on second thoughts, every wrecker I have rung seems to have an auto with transfer lying around. Just no manuals. I have been quoted $1300 to $2000 for the auto with trans. You might find it easier to go that way if you have done something serious to it.

Haven't had any work done recently & it's just out of the warranty time however it did the same thing last year and was looked at as a warranty claim. I supose I'll have to wait to see what Mitsubishi do about it.

Good luck. They told me a - there is nothing wrong, b- it should do that (not send drive).
