they will.... with alot of metal trimming 
minimum you need and when I say minimum that would be with no offorad work would be a 2.5" lift, but you will still rub even on speed bumps. You really should have 3.5" as a minimum if you want to wheel it aswell... adjust bumpstops to suit. you will more than likely require a sye aswell, plus the gearing wont be the best either.

You can get away with a 2.5 OME kit with a 1"Body lift and a T-case lowering kit, that can avoid a SYE ..... but even thats something i would still recommend getting. that set up is also pretty cheap $ 1500(ish) to do yourself.
This set up would rub with 33's and would be the minimal lift for those tyres.
swap the 1"BL for a 2"BL and you'll be running the setup that 80% of TJ's on 33's happily run.

If I was to get a bog-stock wrangler and wanted to fit 33's, I'd need a 4" suspension lift, correct? How much would that set me back in dollars?
Also how much would it cost to get the ratios done to suit?
And how much for this YBE thing?
Finally, with the 4" lift, 33's, and ratios to suit, what sort of fuel economy cdan I get out of the 4.0litre 6 manual both on freeway and around town? Does anybody have experience with this?
Im thinkin of doing this with a new wrangler but I want to know how much worse my economy will get? I know, you dont buy a fourby for the economy but It'd be nice to know what to expect before forking out the cash.

4 inch lift would cost anywhere between 1500 (BL and 2.5/3 inch coils) right up to 4500 installed for a full system with control arms etc.
SYE is about 1000 these days just for parts. A bit more for non China made ones (ebay ones). Thats just supply. Add another few hundred for fitament.
ratios will cost anywhere from about 2500 (just ratios with carrier upgrade) through to 4500 including air lockers (can be used as carrier).
Not sure with new 6 speed but you will be lucky to get much over 400km on a full tank (72 L). that is based on my experience and what i have read. New ones might be a bit better though. In reality you are looking at close to 40000 on a new one with all the bits.

2" coils spacers & a 1" BL....Cost cost as little as $650 and that's including shockies (but not swaybar discos which are recommended).......but be aware that under new ADR's body lifts should not be installed if you have SRS airbags.
SYE - if you plan to stay with 33" tyres and aren't planning comp work a Light duty SYE can save a few $$ - With driveshaft it'd be less than $750.... And much easier DIY install
Diff Ratios highly recommended now available in a thick ring setso you could regear to 4.10 and keep the stock LSD. Parts could be as little as $900 for an old TJ, or as little as $600 for a new TJ where an install kit isn't reuqired.Although labour can run to another $700+
So even there it's cost 3000, but not including flares to cover wider tyres or wider rims to suit...Mind 33x10's would get arouns that
