I'm just wondering if there are any cons to having a high roll centre, ie up near the verticle height of the centre of mass??? Anyone tinkered with this and had varying results??
Just planning the next build-up, trying to get some ideas sorted out.

Cons of a high roll centre

Because the axle assembly rotates about the roll centre, with a high roll centre, the chassis and body move further to the side (relative to the axle and wheels) during articulation.
While this is not a big disadvantage at crawl speeds, it is on a higher speed climb.
The inertial forces at higher speed from accelerating this mass to the side, has the affect of resisting articulation.
