Which Immobiliser?

Post by mabsydney »

Wanting to fit an immobiliser for insurance.

I've got quotes from Black widow and Brant and Black widow are considerably cheaper.

Anybody got any feedback on what's good and what isn't?

Most brand name immobilsers are good. Brant are probably the best, with some insurance companies recommending them specifically. ie - My sister had to get a Brant pinpad for thier WRX to get insurance.

if you stick with a well known brand like Black Widow, Brant, Mongoose, Pirrahna, Rhino, Antitheft and the likes you wont be disappointed.
If you are only getting an immobiliser there is not much variance in the functions. The dearer ones usually just have more features when you get into their full featured alarms.
