I've sent a few emails off to various places - looking around $30 - $50 (us$) for the edis6 modules, (not confirmed) also depends on quantity - this is for used untested modules. I rekon i can get better pricing though - especially on the 4 and 8 cyl units.davejb wrote:Count me in for an EDIS6 module or 2
Any idea at this point of costs
Thanks Dave
Soon, but no real hurry. I've got all the gear ready to go except the module - Am waiting for replies from sent emails to confirm.-Scott- wrote:I'm interested in a 4 cylinder module, if it can be driven by Megasquirt II. When do you expect this to happen?

No - you need the matching edis module - as they are pre-programmed to suit.fool_injected wrote:With the EDIS modules can you run an EDIS8 on a 4 or 6 cyl by only using the coils required?

I'm still trying to get my head around it all but it looks a good thing. A lot more water friendly than a dizzi setup.

(more units comming, but don't know when)
(more units comming, but don't know when)All that you need to fab up - is the timing wheel to the harmonic balancer + the bracket for the sensor. I got these from a ford wreckers for $35. They came off a EL ford ( I think). I'll post up some pics tonight of what i have done so far.Loanrangie wrote:Cool, with the edis where is the ignition triggered from ? and what parts locally can you use or is there some fabrication required.
