gudday, just bought myself a 1986 swb 2.6 5sp.i'm new to mitsubishi, i owned a bundy a few years ago and missed that wonderful ride only a swb can offer, so i nabbed this shorty. i.ve noticed it revs high until warm. is this an issue with auto choke? box is notchy and a little noisy in 3rd and 5th. aside from this so far i'm stoked with it.. are they a capable machine? and forgive my ignorance, but why do you call them a jabber?

cheers

go the paj, dont worry they are a really capable macine, they got a good lsd and a few weekends ago i went every wear a 60series on 35 claws got.

the 2.6 is reliable and until warm they rev a bit high.

and for the jabber i think its a play on the pajero -pooh jabber

Yep, my 2.6 revs it's nut off until it's nice and toasty... makes some nice tappet noises when it's been sitting for a while too!

Never missed a beat though.
