i did the search thing and came up with a few answers but no real explaination of the wire going from behind the headlight on the H/Beam and then goes staight up to the cab then back out to ?(relay etc) and then where i pinched thisfrom my search

ok i shoudla dun this 1st
5 pin relay has a 86,87,87,30,85 pins
86 = EARTH (i put a in dash switch for this wire)
87 = power to + one spotti
87 = power to + one other spotti
30 = to battery with inline fuse(its best to make this as short as possible)
85 = to ur switch for the relay (highbeam wire to be legal

Firstly, what car have u got as this will depend on which wire to tap into on the high beams...
When u/we work out which wire to tap into, this goes into the cab to a switch, and then from switch to pin 85 on the relay. It only needs to draw a fraction of an amp to trigger the relay, so you dont need to big a wire.
