cross member

I just noticed something, my front drive shaft is hitting the chassis cross member. How do you guys fix that, cut out a section of the cross member, or move it back?????

Regards

Just scollap the crossmember, cut a V section out and weld in some new plate.

Works well

Get a front shaft from a t/flite auto rangie, shaft is solid not hollow tube so will give another 1" or there abouts of clearance.

Hi Mangie,

Is that with the BW35 you got from me? I have the tube cross member that I'm not going to use with the C9. Gives about another 75mm clearance. Yours if you want. Still have the driveshafts too.

Ummm, I don't know what a BW35 is, so I doubt if I've bought one.

Maybe there are two Mangies?????

Hi Mangie #2,

There must be two. There is a Mangie from Blackburn, Melbourne Vic who I gave the BW to.
