OK, getting tyres engineered in SA may be tougher than I thought, because even the engineer I spoke to doesn't seem sure on what's required.
I have submitted "approval to modify" paperwork for all the mods to my 4by, and am sure that I'll need an engineer to take some of my money - but what he (she?) will need to do, or how much it will cost me, I have no idea.
So, has anybody here successfully engineered larger tyres in SA, and what happened/who did you use?
