hi all im going for a mq just need to know how would it go off road its a 2.8L with 2"body lift and 2"spring and going to go with 2"shackles its also got a set of 35" tyres its also lwb dose any one some good pic of there lwb mq or mk thank you

L28s have a problem with big angles, as they keep flooding and stalling. If you get too deep in water/muck, the engine fan will throw crap around your engine bay and you'll end up with a wet dizzy/coil, so a good waterproofing is in order

ditch your front swaybar and take a couple of leaves out of the spring packs and it'll walk quite well

another good lil trick is to remove the engine fan and use 2 falcooooon thermo fans (ea-au)
they fit the mq radiator perfectly and u can rig them to a switch so u can turn them off when crossing water

never had a problem with water stalling my MK. have only had the carby troubles a couple of times, on steep rutted hills... having to use the starter to reverse down. then let the car sit for a while...
